Walking Out

in Eden...

wild columbine

Maidenhair and Lady ferns

wild ginger

Jack-in-the-Pulpit

Wild Columbine flourishing in rock and sand.  Just gotta grow...

... that's what it felt like.  The deep green smell of the earth in the morning after a spring rain, thick with life.  My idea of heaven.

i LOVE that jack-in-the-pulpit! they are like jewels in the forest. (to me, anyway, at the moment.) glad you went out and saw all these beautiful things that were probably just waiting to be seen. :)

You're right Annie -- so secretive hiding under their pretty canopy of leaves. This walk was just what I needed -- it always is!!
