Whoa - we didn't meet this big guy I'm happy to say but on the path up
the mountain we would get a whiff of a very musky smell - bears were
there just not in our path.
Mt. Redoubt from the air. On the way back to Anchorage we flew over
the mountains, you can see the lava dome on the photo.

Your pictures bring back such wonderful memories of our week in Alaska a few years ago. It looks like you had a great time. I would sure like to return.
